The Baloch Advocacy and Studies Center (BASC) is a research-driven advocacy organization dedicated to documenting and addressing the severe human rights challenges faced by the Baloch people in Iran and Pakistan. BASC was founded by a team of human rights defenders, writers, and researchers who, after years of experience and discussions, came together with a shared vision: to ensure that the voices of the Baloch are not only heard but acted upon at the international level.

The Baloch people continue to endure systematic human rights violations, including enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, summary executions, economic exploitation and severe restrictions on political and cultural expression. In addition, they face widespread social deprivation and lack access to basic amenities. However, documenting these abuses remains an immense challenge due to restricted access to affected regions and the high-risk environment.

At BASC, our team of seasoned human rights defenders and researchers employs advanced data analysis, verification methods, and rigorous investigative techniques to bridge information gaps and authenticate reports. Using various analytical tools, we provide credible evidence to international bodies, governments, and human rights organizations, ensuring that the plight of the Baloch is accurately documented and globally recognized.

Beyond documentation, many Baloch have been forced to flee their homeland in search of safety, only to face new vulnerabilities in exile. BASC works to mitigate their challenges, offering support and helping them transform their struggle into resilience and empowerment.

Our mission is to mobilize international support for the Baloch cause and ensure that human rights violations against the Baloch receive global attention. Through high-quality research, advocacy campaigns, and policy recommendations, we strive to push for accountability, justice, and lasting change. We believe that through knowledge, awareness, and international collaboration, the struggles of the Baloch people can be recognized and addressed. Our goal is to build a future where their fundamental rights are not only acknowledged but actively protected and upheld.
